About Texas Christian Junior Bull Riders
The Texas Christian Junior Bull Riders organization, referred to as the "TCJBR," represents youth bull riders across the entirety of the state of Texas and was founded in 2012. Since Texas is a very large state, the TCJBR divides its activities into five regions:  Central, West, Southeast, Panhandle and Southwest, with each region having its own Regional Director within the TCJBR.
TCJBR is committed to encouraging youth participation in the sport and developing young riders through training and competitions. We are a Christian based Organization and we encourage participation in Cowkids for Christ and have Cowboy Church at many of our events.
Each year, the TCJBR is involved in area-wide competitions for young bull riders, culminating in the Texas state finals and the AYBR Finals in Ignacio, Colorado. These competitions feature a range of categories, from mutton and calf riding, to junior bull riding events.

The TCJBR has 5 age groups:
• 6 & Under Mutton Bustin
• 8 & Under Calf Riding
•11 & Under Jr. Steer Riding
•14 & Under Sr. Steer Riding
•19 & Under Bullriding
